Our selection of the city's top events and seasonal activities will help turn Los Angeles into a winter paradise all throughout the month with outdoor movie screenings, holiday decorations in botanical gardens, and Christmas in Los Angeles lights all around the city.

  • The Grove

The Grove transforms into a mystical holiday wonderland and is situated next to the Original Farmer's Markets. With lights and ornaments, it is decorated. Santa Claus, reindeer, and other animals can be seen flying over the well-known dancing fountain. Furthermore, children can visit Santa's Workshop and get to know the big man in red. Every year, the Grove lights its 100-foot tree during a special ceremony. alongside entertainers like actors, carolers, and others.

  • Hollywood

The holiday season is the only time of year when Hollywood, aside from Oscar night, truly sparkles with magic. Christmas lights and other decorations are everywhere on Hollywood Boulevard. You will experience the Los Angeles Christmas atmosphere on a chilly evening in the midst of Hollywood Boulevard. You may watch the Hollywood Christmas Parade the day following Thanksgiving. The holiday season has officially begun in Hollywood. Expect to see floats, famous people, and more traveling through Hollywood. 

  • LA Zoo Lights: Animals Aglow

This year, the LA Arboretum will once again host the well-acclaimed Lightscape holiday show. You pass through shimmering tunnels, vibrant fountains, and imaginative light shows on this fantastic illuminated tour. This is a totally absorbing experience. For a romantic evening, this seems ideal.

  • Winterlit & Ice Skating in Santa Monica

The Third Street Promenade in Downtown Santa Monica is transformed into a Winter lit Wonderland between Second and Third Street with thousands of lights and decorations. You may start having fun and shopping outside for the holidays on November 16th. Family favorites include the Third Street Promenade. On November 15 until January 16 Santa Monica's 8,000-foot-long outdoor ice skating rink will reopen. Passes for the entire day of Christmas are available.

  • The Americana at Brand in Glendale

The Americana in Glendale, which is similar to The Grove, goes all out for Christmas lights and decorations, creating a spectacular experience for everyone shopping there. Visitation is not contingent upon shopping. With the family, go here to enjoy the enchantment of Christmas in a clean and safe environment. Plan to attend the tree-lighting ceremony, which will likely include snow and Santa's arrival.

  •  Westfield Century City Mall Christmas Market

The Westfield Century City Malls offer a Christmas Market and village with carefully chosen shops, a trip to visit Santa at the North Pole, and even live performances on certain nights during the holiday season. While taking in the festive decorations and festivities, go shopping for that particular Christmas gift. After that, you may either book a table for lunch or dinner at one of Eataly's restaurants or browse the Holiday market there (weekends only).

  • Christmas Tree Lane – Altadena

Driving up and down Christmas Tree Lane in Altadena is one of our favorite things to do during the holidays. On either side of Santa Rosa Avenue, a line of stunning deodar trees that have been lit up in different colors stand tall and full. A custom that has been observed every year since 1920. And it was among the city of Los Angeles' top Christmas customs. It will be revealed on the day of the winter festival and lighting ceremony. If you're in Los Angeles around the holidays, don't miss this lovely street.

  • Upper Hastings in Ranch Holiday Light Up – Pasadena

When it comes to the holidays, Pasadena's Upper Hastings Ranch community goes all out. If you live in the Los Angeles neighborhood of the San Gabriel Valley, it's another favorite. A few homes may even have dancing lights, as Christmas decorations can be found on dozens of residential streets along with lights, entertaining displays, and themes. It all began in Pasadena in 1951, and it's now a custom. This beautiful custom is shared by the entire neighborhood.

  • Disneyland

During the holidays, a lot of Angelinos visit Disneyland. In Southern California, Los Angeles is the center of the Christmas universe. Disney understands how to make the most of this lovely time of year. It's very magical to see Sleeping Beauty's Castle decked out in lights and garlands. As of November 12th, the holiday décor is fully operational. For the Christmas season, we advise making reservations and purchasing tickets as soon as possible.

Suppose Disneyland is out of your price range. It's also worthwhile to see Downtown Disney. Make sure to visit the Grand Californian Hotel with Christmas light Los Angeles and see the enormous gingerbread house that is on display.
